On Saturday, October 4, our incredible community came together at the 30th annual Walk for the Animals. It was an incredible day filled with energy, compassion, and support for animals in need.

About Abby Lange: Abby served on the Board of Directors and volunteered in a variety of roles. For those of us who knew Abby, we regarded her as the most passionate and enthusiastic fan of the shelter that we had ever known. During her years on the Board she advocated for every opportunity to better serve the animals in our community. The Walk was especially near and dear to her heart, and she often bragged about all of the Walk t-shirts she had collected over the years by attending every single walk. In 2019, Abby lost her battle with cancer. Before she passed, we let her know her legacy would include being remembered at our Walk. Each year, we offer a moment of silence in remembrance of Abby.
